2026 dates released soon!

Create natural skincare using Scotland’s wild and cultivated plants.

Overview

Scotland’s landscapes hold a remarkable variety of plants long valued for their cleansing, soothing, and restorative qualities. In this hands-on indoor workshop, you’ll learn how to turn these local ingredients into simple, natural skincare products.

Across a relaxed 2 ½ hour session, we will prepare three botanical self-care items using useful plants and natural materials. A few of the recipes you may create:

  • Soothing Face Mask

  • Nourishing Night Serum

  • Replenishing Body Butter

  • Detoxifying Facial Steam Blend

  • Regenerative Hair Rinse

  • Nurturing Bath Oil

  • Restorative Bath Salts

The focus is on safe preparation, thoughtful plant selection, and understanding how different botanicals can support skin health and overall wellbeing, nurturing both body and senses.

Each class offers the satisfaction of learning how to make products that are gentle, effective, and genuinely rooted in nature, whilst giving the confidence to create more recipes at home.

What You’ll Learn

  • An introduction to the herbs and seaweeds used in natural skincare

  • How to infuse oils, prepare bases, and blend herbs safely

  • The difference between soothing, cleansing, and rejuvenating botanicals

  • How to select plants for your own skin type

  • Safe storage and use of handmade products

You’ll take home your creations along with notes and inspiration for further exploration.
